Wearing a bra, Sofia Vergara and Sharon Stone were spotted, left, apparently smooching on set (Photo: Splash N …The famously curvaceous Sofia Vergara has been spotted on set spilling out of a black corseted bra for John Turturro's comedic film "Fading Gigolo."
But before you think she's undressing just for a man, think again. The steamy scene is happening with Sharon Stone, who reportedly plays a wealthy dermatologist opposite Vergara's glasses designer character.
Rumors of a woman-on-woman love scene -- in which Turturro may also be in the mix -- have been swirling for months. But in April, Vergara said the rumors were just that: "There's no lesbian loving. Somebody thought it was more interesting to write, 'Oh, Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara, they have to have, like, a lesbian scene,'" the 40-year-old actress told Extra.
Stone on set in New York (Photo: Splash News)Judging by recent photos that show the pair together on set in New York last week apparently kissing (see above), Vergara's prior statement looks to have been misleading. As Ricky Ricardo would say: Sofia, you have some 'splaining to do!
Most everyone knows a ladies love scene is not new territory for 54-year-old Stone, who is perhaps most famous for her overtly sexual character Catherine Tramell in 1992 Paul Verhoeven crime thriller "Basic Instinct," in which she gets frisky with another woman on the dance floor. As for Vergara, the idea of a lesbian or bisexual love scene is perhaps not so strange either -- she did, after all, already play a post-op transsexual in the direct-to-DVD film "Grilled" in 2006.
"Fading Gigolo" is written and directed by "Big Lebowski" actor Turturro. He also stars in the film, playing a male escort. And if that's not enough, Woody Allen plays his pimp. Allen is also said to be helping out with the script, working as Turturro's editor, Turturro told The Hollywood Reporter in September.
"Fading Gigolo" is set to be released in 2013.

When asked if he did research on the gigolo lifestyle, Turturro told THR with a sly giggle, "Yeah, I've done plenty... I can't really speak publicly about that." Then he gave his serious answer, saying he has always been interested in "the genre," referring to films with prostitution themes including "Midnight Cowboy" and "Belle de Jour.""Fading Gigolo" is set to be released in 2013.
