After winning Miss World nearly 20 years ago, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan became Miss TOIFA this weekend.
In her first appearance abroad since giving birth in 2011, the 39-year-old Bollywood superstar became the belle of the ball when she performed at Vancouver's inaugural Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) on Saturday.
Some of India's biggest stars (including Bollywood's Brad Pitt Shah Rukh Khan) populated B.C. Place, along with Premier Christy Clark in local dress, while Rai-Bachchan descended onto the stage.
According to IBNLive.com, the actress's performance of songs from the blockbuster flick "Dhoom 2" and the film "Devdas" was "one of the highlights of the gala night." Though Rai-Bachchan arrived in gold and green, she transformed into a sparkly black show stopping dress for her stage show.

And it wasn't just the fans who applauded the new mom. When Rai-Bachchan's husband, Abhishek, won the award for best actor in a comic role for his appearance in "Bol Bachchan," he toasted his wife in his speech.
"I really owe this to Aishwarya and the love and support she has given me," the 37-year-old actor said. "She makes me the person that I am."
Following the ceremony, the Rai-Bachchans posed for a photo with Shah Rukh Khan and his wife, Gauri -- a move that surprised fans on Twitter. Rumour has it the two couples have been feuding after a falling out on the set of Khan's film "Chalte Chalte" 11 years ago.
We guess the TOIFA awards put everyone in good spirits!
