If you had your hopes for celebrity coupledom pinned to Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, the pillars of youthful and hipster Hollywood romance, this is not your day: The couple have announced their split, and apparently, they parted ways quite a while ago.
The pair were together for four years, but in a statement to People, a “source” close to the couple said, “There was no drama, they’ve been apart while working. They still care about each other. They still have love for one another. They are on good terms with each other and remain close.”
Sure. In the meantime, we can all add fuel to the celebrity split fire, with 2015 having already claimed many a victim.
Apparently, Garfield, 32, and Stone, 26, had taken a break earlier this year after finding a long-distance relationship just wasn’t working for them, while they worked on separate films.
