'He was looking at an $80,000 3.5-carat emerald-cut platinum engagement ring,' an onlooker told Life & Style. 'He thinks it's perfect.'
The Dawson's Creek stud and Kruger, who live together, have been dating for seven years.

'[They're] not engaged and they have no plans to get married,' a source told E! News this week.

Kruger's new drama series The Bridge is scheduled to premiere July 10 on FX.

Demian Bichir, Annabeth Gish, Ted Levine, and Matthew Lillard also star in the series about two detectives who work together to hunt down a serial killer.
