HOT CELEBRITIES: Sharon Stone, 55, continues to steal the limelight from Amanda Seyfried, 27, at Lovelace premiere

Sharon Stone

She is playing the titular character in a new biopic of the porn star Linda Lovelace.
But even with the starring role, Amanda Seyfried, 27, couldn't help but get upstaged by older supporting cast member Sharon Stone, 55, at the film's premiere on Tuesday evening.
The pair had earlier been seen together at a screening wearing very different outfits and Sharon once again stole the limelight from her younger leading lady. Scroll down for video

Thunder, stolen: Sharon Stone appears to have upstaged her younger leading lady at their premiere
Sharon looked absolutely stunning in a figure-hugging white dress, with gold heels, while Amanda cut a solemn figure in a longer black skirt and matching heels.
Amanda channeled a Park Avenue princess as she arrived at The Late Show with David Letterman following the event, which she then swapped for a black evening gown for the premiere.
As she arrived at Letterman, Amanda looked angelic wearing a Balmain ensemble and white Rupert Sanderson heels.

Seasoned professional: It seems Sharon has had a bit more practice than Amanda when it comes to dressing for a premiere

As ever, Amanda was accompanied by her beloved dog Finn who appeared to go down well with fans waiting outside, although she didn't appear to bring him along to the premiere.
Talking about love for Finn Amanda has said: 'He cuddles with me and he listens to me and he loves me and he looks at me all the time. Come on, like, people don't praise you like that.'
The mutt even has its own Twitter account, presumable run by Amanda.

Meanwhile, earlier on that day at a press conference and screening for the new film, Sharon turned heads wearing a difficult to pull off peach satin dress versus the younger star's dowdy and prim grey frock.
Sharon, who stands at 5ft9, towered over the diminutive blonde (5ft3) as they promoted the new biopic about the '70s porn star, portrayed by the latter.
Stone, who plays Lovelace's mother Dorothy Boreman in the movie, has revealed that she was almost persuaded to have a facelift.

The Basic Instinct actress is one of the rare Hollywood stars to have shunned plastic surgery, despite being offered the cosmetic procedure by several surgeons, and she feels it's sexier to look natural at the age of 55.
She told America's NEW YOU magazine: 'I can't tell you how many doctors try to sell me a facelift. I've even gone as far as having someone talk me into it, but when I went over and looked at pictures of myself, I thought, what are they going to lift?
'Yes, I have come close - but frankly, I think that in the art of aging well there's this sexuality to having those imperfections. It's sensual.'

The sultry star isn't worried about her face changing as she gets older because she has gained great cheekbones as she's aged which compensate for other features that she has lost.
She said: 'People are afraid of changing; that they're losing something. They don't understand that are also gaining something.
'I thought I lost the deep vortex of on my eyelid that you have when you're younger, but I gained almost a kind of beautiful abyss. As I lost the fullness in my face, I go in these great cheekbones.'

However, Sharon did acknowledge that surgery for some people is the right choice, although added that the rules set prior to going under the knife should be a lot more strict.

She said: 'If you have things that you want to fix, you should go right ahead and fix them. I don’t think there is anything wrong with cosmetic surgery at all. I think it’s great. But I don’t think it’s alright to distort yourself.
'You can’t treat an illness with cosmetic surgery, and that’s why it would be great if there were qualified therapists in plastic surgeons’ offices, and that people would go to a therapeutic meeting before plastic surgery.
'I think that should be part of the FDA requirement.'

Sharon - who is rumoured to have been dating hotelier Michael Wudyka since the spring - also said that entering a new decade has given her a new lease of life.
She explained: 'Realise when you are 'middle aged' you have a chance for a whole second career, another love, another life.
'You may be sick of what you did the first half of your life, but you don't have to just walk around and play golf or doing nothing. It's not like fifty is the new thirty. It's like fifty is the new chapter.'
