Melanie Griffith brought ex-husband Steven Bauer as her date last week for an L.A. screening of her new movie, "Dark Tourist." What's most interesting about this though? It's their first public appearance together in nearly 20 years!
The 56-year-old actress looked comfortable and (gasp!) happy with her former husband. The two walked the red carpet together and smiled for photogs.
Talk about a time warp!
Meanwhile, Melanie's current husband, Antonio Banderas, was nowhere to be seen.
Melanie underwent treatment three times for substance abuse in 1988, 2000, and 2009. Griffith admitted she turned to alcohol following her divorce to Bauer.
"I was never loved unconditionally," she told Vanity Fair in 1994. "Coke, booze give you a feeling, a physical sensation ... a buzz inside your body that takes the place of something you should have had when you were a child."
"Overcoming addiction is tough but it can be made easier if you have someone that can offer support," Griffith once wrote on her website. "My husband and family supported me so much through this journey and continue to do so."

In-between her marriages to Bauer and Banderas, Griffith was also married to "Miami Vice" actor Don Johnson, with whom she has another daughter.

While both stars clearly look a bit older than they did two decades ago, both Melanie and Steven appear to be in great shape for their age.
Griffith and Bauer, also 56, were married for five years from 1982 - 1987 and have one son together, Alexander, 28. He attended the premiere as well.Meanwhile, Melanie's current husband, Antonio Banderas, was nowhere to be seen.

Although Banderas, 53, wasn't at the "Dark Tourist" screening, it appears all is still well in their marriage. Antonio and Melanie spent an intimate evening together celebrating their birthdays earlier this month in Spain. The couple had dinner with a few friends in the town of Marbella in Banderas's home country's southern region.
Antonio and Melanie got married in 2006 and have one daughter together, Stella.In-between her marriages to Bauer and Banderas, Griffith was also married to "Miami Vice" actor Don Johnson, with whom she has another daughter.
