TIFF 2012 HOT CELEBRITIES: Kirsten Stewart got an outpouring of support at her first post-scandal appearance, but not everyone was happy to see her

Kirsten Stewart got an outpouring of support at her first post-scandal appearance, but not everyone was happy to see her.
The 22-year-old actress, who appeared at the "On the Road" red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival, was surprisingly poised, posing gamely for the cameras, smiling at reporters and spending more time than any of the other cast members (Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund) signing autographs and posing for photos with fans.
"I'm really happy [the fans] are here," she told the Toronto Sun. "I think most of them were fans before I had anything to do with this. It's awesome."

And it's probably a good thing Stewart, who donned a sparkling floral Zuhair Murad gown, was so busy completing her interview duties. According to the Toronto Sun, at one point during Thursday night's premiere gala, one angry onlooker yelled out, "Kristen, you little b----!"
Though the comment reportedly caused tension on the red carpet, it could not be heard further down the line, and there was no sign that Stewart herself was aware of what happened. In any case, supportive fans' loud yells of "We love you, Kristen!" likely drowned it out.

And even if Stewart had heard it? Well, one fan brought a poster that offered a worthy response. The main image in a group of photos was a vampy Stewart flipping the bird, surrounded by the words, "We love and support you, keep being true to yourself."
Stewart already set the media abuzz Wednesday night when she arrived in Toronto wearing what appeared to be one of Robert Pattinson's old shirts (he wore the same one while walking his dog in July last year).

While she walked the "On the Road" gauntlet, the actress' rumoured ex-boyfriend was at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) Thursday night to present an exclusive clip from "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," the final film in their "Twilight" series.

"It's been an amazing journey and we'd like to thank all the fans of the series for your incredible enthusiasm from the beginning until now, the finale chapter," Pattinson said.
VMAs host Kevin Hart even addressed Stewart's two-month-old affair with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders in which she was photographed making out with the married Brit.
"If she did it, so what? It's over. Move on!" Hart said. "The point I'm making is this: if you've made a mistake, so what? I'm going to make mistakes [tonight]. You know why? Because people here have made mistakes before."

"Dude, I'm really happy that [the fans] are here for 'On the Road.' I think most of them were fans before I had anything to do with ['Twilight'], which is why they're here anyways, so it's awesome."
