Salma Hayek's husband François-Henri Pinault has spoken out regarding the financial dispute over his child with supermodel Linda Evangelista, reports People. If you haven’t heard, Evangelista would like $46,000 a month in support for her 4-year-old son with Pinault. The French businessman also has a 3-year-old daughter with Salma Hayek.
Evangelista’s lawyer claims that Pinault has been "paying zero" toward raising little Augustin James.
Pinault tells the new issue of French Elle that he’s not the deadbeat dad he appears to be. Pinault claims that his son "is totally integrated within my family." The businessman also notes that Augustin has a relationship with his sister Valentina.
According to Pinault, he’s "recognized" Augustin since 2007, the year he was born. Pinault adds that, "at every possible opportunity he has participated in my family life whether in France or the United States."
The 49-year-old CEO of a luxury goods empire began dating Hayek in 2006 and married the actress in 2009. He also has two other children from a previous marriage
