Just a few hours earlier, the Oscar-winning star had glammed up in a black and white knee-length dress with geometric design and black stripe running down the back.
The star wore the stunning Antonio Berardi designed number for an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman, teaming it with Tom Ford black strappy sandals.

Young Adult, a low budget comedy drama written by Diablo Cody and directed by Jason Reitman, is Charlize's first movie since she provided a voice for animated movie Astro Boy back in 2009.
The film sees her star as Mavis Gray, a writer of teen literature and one-time school bully who returns to her small hometown to recapture her youth.
Once there, she embarks on a mission to reclaim her now happily married high school sweetheart, played by Patrick Wilson, who was also at tonight's premiere with his wife Dagmara Domińczyk.

He was also joined by Twilight actress Elisabeth Reaser, who plays his wife in the movie, along with screenwriter Diablo Cody and  Patton Oswalt
The actress, who is currently single after splitting with long term boyfriend Stuart Townsend, recently said she was especially attracted to the character of Mavis when she first read Cody's script.

'I found her fascinating,' she told website Collider.  'The idea of a woman dealing with very common mid to late thirty issues that women can really relate to, but because of how she wants her life, is dealing with them the way a sixteen year old would deal with them.
'She says things like, "Don’t you know love conquers all?" It’s the typical sixteen-year-old saying. Here she is thirty-seven trying to get her life together, and she just doesn’t have the tools to do it.'

And Charlize also revealed that, unlike her character, she had never called an old flame in reality.
'The other thing I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing to call up an old love. I have not done that. I don’t know. Not if they’re married with a newborn baby right?'

And surprisingly, the stunning actress, who grew up in Benoni, near Johannesburg, didn't have too much of a good time at school.
'I was pretty much a mess out of primary school,' she recalled. 'I really experienced a lot more of that stuff from the ages of seven to twelve, where there was a really popular girl at my school, and I was obsessed with her, like you’d go to jail for that stuff today.
'I’m so embarrassed to say this, but I was in tears one day, because I couldn’t sit next to her. Oh I have issues,' she added.
However, the star overcame her 'issues,' but says she wasn't popular at high school.
'By the time I went to high school I was kind of broken in and more immune to all of that stuff,' she recalled.
'I wasn’t really in the popular crowd. I went to art school. I was kind of obsessed with ballet.
'I wore really nerdy glasses. I was blind as could be, and boys don’t really like big nerdy glasses. Not so much.
'I didn’t have any boyfriends, but I had a massive crush on this guy, who this interviewer that just did a story on me for Vogue actually found, and he was all like, "Yeah tell her the crush was mutual."
'F*** that. It was not mutual, and he was like, "Oh I remember she wore those glasses."
Young Adult will be released on December 16.

HOT CELEBRITIES: Irina Shayk attends sportswear launch in impossibly short low-cut dress9th December 2011

Her lengthy pins never fail to steal the limelight so it’s no surprise Cristiano Ronaldo’s supermodel fiancée got them out again for a celebrity bash in New York last night.
Irina Shayk showed off legs with talent to rival her footballer beau’s as she turned up for the Macys Ideology Press Launch for their activewear line.
And from the huge grin across her face, she was clearly happy with the attention her best assets received.

Donning a black frock with navy blue paneling and cut out detail, the 25-year-old showed off her flawless figure to perfection.
The daring dress only just reached beneath her bottom and featured revealing side splits in the material below her bust.
Her look was hardly appropriate for the celebration of the department store's sportswear clothing collection.

The clothes horse posed provocatively in an ensemble featuring a suggestive full zip front, teamed up with peep-toe mesh heels and a black clutch bag.
The brunette beauty kept her hair tied back to show off an expensive-looking pair of drop earrings which complemented desirable facial features such as her full lips and flirty eyelashes.
Other stars at the event included Dancing With the Stars runner-up Rob Kardashian and his partner on the show, Cheryl Burke.

Whereas the pair were much more dressed down than the sexy model, Cheryl flashed a peep of her toned tummy as she kept her hooded top zipped low and wore grey jogging bottoms with trainers.
Rob – who like Shayk opted for black and dark blue tones – was in good spirits as he took to the DJ Booth in the city’s Dream Hotel to spin some hits.
His cheery mood may have something to do with his rumoured romance with British singer Rita Ora.
The 24-year-old younger brother of reality stars Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, was expected to make his first public appearance with the blonde beauty, 21, at yesterday’s celebration.
